Here is where the similarities end. The cockpit of Range Rover Sports is
designed around the driver who is at the heart of all the action and cocooned
by the controls, including a sweeping centre console and an off-set gear
lever. Yet the driver still sits high, well above the traffic, in a command
driving position that is so authentically Land Rover. The seat is supportive,
gripping firm even during fast cornering.

Innovative technology for dynamic control
On road handling is maximised with Land Rover’s new Dynamic Response
active roll control suspension system.* This is a computer-controlled
active anti-roll system that senses cornering forces then acts to optimise
body control and reduce lean. This is complemented by a fully independent
double wishbone suspension for a sporty ride and exceptional on-road dynamics.
An electronically controlled centre differential improves off-road traction
and on-road handling reducing the likelihood of slips and skids.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Alert*
allows Range Rover Sport to maintain a set speed and distance from the
vehicle in front when cruising, so when it speeds up or slows down you
do too.
