Take a look inside the Range Rover Sport and you’ll
discover a Land Rover unlike any other. Naturally, there is the same contemporary
mix of craftsmanship of leather and wood and a superior finish that you
would expect from Land Rover. But this is where the similarity ends.
There is a cockpit feel for the driver who is surrounded by the controls
including the broad centre console and the off-set gear lever. Of course
you still sit high above the traffic in a command driving position that
is so characteristically Land Rover.
Spacious and well-equipped and with state-of-the-art audio sound and options
for satellite navigation and DVD systems, this truly is the interior of

Cockpit feel with command driving
The interior of the Range Rover Sports has been designed as a cockpit
rather than a cabin and puts the driver at the heart of the action. The
driver is enveloped by controls, including a sweeping centre console and
an off set gear lever. The seat is supportive, gripping firm even during
fast cornering. Yet the driver still sits high, above the other traffic,
making visibility for the driver and passengers excellent.
The cockpit is finished in premium material. Leather, wood and metallic
finishes are all available. Instrumentation is clearly displayed in an
attractive pinnacle in the front of the driver.
The optional premium wood finishes are available for an extra touch of
distinction. The cherry is a rich red/brown with pronounced grain and
satin patina. Hand polished lined oak is deep and glossy with a near black
colour and subtle grain.
The grain and finish of the optional leather interiors Sport is of superb
comfort and quality. Leather options are available; supercharged vehicles
use sports leather upholstery with a metallic sparkle backing.
State-of-the art audio sound
The Range Rover Sports boasts a fine quality in-vehicle sound system.
This state-of-the-art audio kit provides sound quality to delight even
the most discerning listener . The Harmon/Kardon LOGIC® digital surround
sound system offers the very latest in sound reproduction comprising of
14 speakers powered by a 12-channel digitally controlled amplifier and
a 6-CD changer included in the dash - Both MP3 files and CDs can be played.
Optional Audio and Communications Features
Satellite navigation is also offered and includes off-road guidance. A
twin-rear screen DVD player is available as is an integrated mobile phone
which employs Bluetooth™ technology for remote operation.
